About Creative Commons

Creative Commons is an international non-profit organisation that provides free licences and tools that copyright owners can use to allow others to share, reuse and remix their material, legally. The Creative Commons international site has more about the history of CC, the basic licence protocols and the baseline rights associated with the CC standard licences.

Creative Commons Australia is the affiliate that supports Creative Commons in Australia and administers the Australian Creative Commons licences. Contact us if you have questions. You can also find out more about Creative Commons Australia or the people behind CC-AU.
