On Monday, 15 April 2013, Professor Marco Ricolfi from Turin University, Italy, will present a free seminar on the subject of “Open Data and European Law: Towards a New Research Paradigm?”
Prof Ricolfi will explore the benefits of open data in an environment which enables the mass-digitization of data and network driven cooperation, and examine the issues of technical standardisation, interoperability, licensing, ownership and charging. He will also address several main strands of contemporary ideological and political debate about PSI and open data.
The seminar will be chaired by Professor Brian Fitzgerald, Executive Dean of the Australian Catholic University Faculty of Law.
