This week (22 – 29 October) is Open Access Week, and events are being held around the world in celebration.
In Australia, an Open Scholarship: Research and Publication symposium will be held by the Deakin University Library, at Deakin’s Burwood campus on Thursday 25 October. Professor Anne Fitzgerald from CC Australia will headline this event, with a presentation on the important role CC licences play in enabling open access in the education and research sectors.
In addition, the Queensland University of Technology Library, University of Queensland Library and Griffith University Library will be hosting a number of events to celebrate OA Week.
