Brisbane still/open Forum

6.00pm, friday 14 september @ the judith wright centre of contemporary arts, 420 brunswick street, fortitude valley

As part of it’s 07 emerging technology labs ANAT is presenting still/open, a series of free public forums for discussion of open source approaches. The forums feature international guests Alessandro Ludovico, Beatriz da Costa as
well as Andy Nicholson with Creative Commons opening the floor for discussion of Open Source Culture.

Come along and hear about current international and Australian projects and be part of discussion about open source modes of thinking and models for collaborative and distributed development.

At the conclusion of the forum, ANAT will launch the latest edition of Filter, an essential guide to ANAT projects and current trends in new media arts. Edition #65, “This is not Open Source”, examines the growth of the creative practice of free sharing and cooperative content development in artware, software, biology and publishing.

Please note pre-registration is not required for the forums.

    As I wrote in my previous post I use SoundTaxi Media Suite.
    Since I’ve bought my iPad I use SoundTaxi as iPad converter. It easily converts music and video to iPad.
