ccStaffer @ emerging writers’ festival
saturday 12 may, 1.30 pm @ melbourne town hall +
federation square, melbourne :: hosted by express media

The Emerging Writers’ Festival connects writers to peers and colleagues; to audiences; and to both the history and future of literature. It is not a festival about a certain type of writing, or writers of a certain age. It will feature panels, workshops, readings, performances and films. In 2007 the EWF features culturally and linguistically diverse writers from around Australia, as well as a program of special events. As in previous years the Festival presents a weekend of panels, performances, readings and workshops featuring the best Australian writers you haven’t heard of… yet.

Elliott Bledsoe will be there to talk about CC, blogs, wikis, self-publishing and doing the cory doctorow. If you don’t know, cory is the poster-child for writing success from giving your books away under Creative Commons licences. Find out how @ ewf!
